‘Cyberpunk 2077’ next-gen upgrade will be free for PS4 and Xbox One owners
1 min readThe Projekt Red CD is “On Track” to release the PlayStation 5 version and Xbox Series X / S Cyberpunk 2077 in the first quarter of 2022, the parent company studio announced on Monday. The CDPR was originally planned to release updates by the end of 2021 to announce delays until early 2022 in October.
CD Projekt also confirms anyone who bought a game on the Playstation 4 or Xbox One will receive the next generation update for free. Because this game can now be played on the current generation system through retreat compatibility, everyone who has a game on the console will get free upgrades. If you don’t have a cyberpunk 2077, you can buy it while currently 50 percent in Playstation and Microsoft Stores and get a game with discounts before the latest version comes out next year.
