Galaxy S22 camera leak doesn’t sound too bad

Based on leaks and rumors, we only have two months or more before Samsung reveals the opening salvo for 2022. However, based on the same rumors, however, the Galaxy S22 base model and plus colleagues may disappoint in many aspects. There are several downgrades and some may remain the same, although there must be an expected upgrade, at least as far as the processor runs. Not all the things are bad, though, and the latest information gives some hope that the cellphone’s camera will not be as bad as it sounds.

Unlike the ultra model, base and plus the Galaxy S model does not always offer the best camera. Remember what you pay for, you will expect it at least offering a decent photography experience. However, for two generations, Samsung did not update the sensor since the Galaxy S20 last year. Based on the latest Tweet @ice Universe, there may be some hope for the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 + next year.

First of all, the main width camera was finally upgraded from 12MP to a 50MP 1 / 1.57 inch sensor with a 1.0 μm pixel and the F / 1.8 lens aperture. This can be a new Samsung Isocell GN5 or Sony IMX766, depending on the model or market. This is a rather significant increase in terms of hardware capabilities, although pixel binning will be default to produce 12.5MP images just like before.

Telefoto’s camera is a little mixed bag because the 64MP Galaxy S21 PDAF sensor can be replaced with a 10MP camera. That said, the Galaxy S22 can compensate by increasing 1.1x optical zoom to 3x, although it still has nothing on the expected Galaxy S22 from the expected 10x telefoto camera.

However, in all other aspects, the Galaxy S21 will keep the same camera sensor, such as the 12MP ultra-wide focus camera. On the front will be 10MP 1 / 3.24-inch 1.22 μm pixel sensor with f / 2.2 lenses. This is pretty much the same component as Samsung has used flagships since last year.

Those who are looking for the best Samsung mobile photography experience will probably want to aim for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, although they will meet the wild animals completely different from traditional Galaxy S series phones. Larger and more displayed phones are expected to replace the Galaxy Note 21 which is not absent this year. All things considered, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 + may experience a little resistance from consumers who crave the latest Samsung and the largest in size smaller, although it won’t come out of the character if you compare it with the Galaxy S21 or even the Galaxy S20 before it.
