Google Play Users’ Choice of 2021 is not what you might have expected

It’s time for another year to retrospective and predicting expectations that look forward. Even though there are still 32 days left before this year actually ended, Google has released a list of what is reported by its users as their favorites of various applications and games for Android and all incarnations, including those who can be worn and TV. Like every year, a large number of names on the list of winners may not be familiar to most Android users or smartphone users in general. In fact, the real winner for each category might surprise you.

The last two years have actually been beneficial for the cellular industry, mostly because the pandemic forces people in the room and become more dependent on their cellular devices. To ward off potential addiction and use of smartphone use during that period, Google said it focused the best choice on applications that promote personal growth. A little ironically, only one of the 2021 top user choices that really meet the criteria.

Under the user’s choice for 2021, the overall winner is Paramount + and Garena Free Fire Max. Unless you live in the US, you might not be familiar with the latest arrival at the Cutthroat video streaming market. Consider how new and limited, it is actually surprising that it even managed to reach the top of the list. That said, Disney + did at the top of the “Popular on Google TV” graph, even if it was not a new service.

Garena Fire Fire Max, however, is a recipient who is more confused, given how relatively unknown it is compared to the big bat in the royale battle genre. Garena maybe even not a famous brand among gamers outside the Asian market. The united Pokemon did make it to the top of the best match this year, even though some of the reviews were not too positive.

The balance may be the application that best suits the Google criteria for personal growth applications, and it is also one that might be more familiar with mobile users on various platforms. Meditation and sleep applications try to develop the muzzle habit that promotes mental health. To use the OS, the popular tranquility application takes the top position.

It’s not always easy to take stock in the “best” list which is mostly based on a user survey. For one, the results may lean towards one market or the other, especially because the voting is not really open to all areas where the Google Play Store is available. It can end up with applications and games that have never been known anyone or are only available in certain countries.

At the same time, the list also opens up opportunities to find new experiences on Android devices. They may not get used to them, but their popularity brings some guarantees that it might be a new adventure that is mostly positive. That said, there are times when Google’s play permission itself includes the application of malware carrier, so it is careful that it is usually applicable when trying an unknown application, even those who have thousands of downloads.
